The Faith-Based Partnership For Community Change is a collaboration between the faith community and First 5 Riverside. The partnership's goal is to identify, promote, and strengthen access to community resources for families so that our children have the best start in life.

First 5 California launched the Leading Ladies for School Readiness program in February 2007 as part of a statewide effort to educate African American parents and caregivers on the importance of school readiness. Leading Ladies for School Readiness is a partnership between First 5 California, First 5 Riverside, and leading ladies of the African American church. Through this historic partnership, leading ladies, women who play a leadership role within their church, serve as local advocates educating parents, caregivers, congregations and community leaders on the importance of preparing children to enter school ready to learn.

New Parent Kits
The Kit for New Parents is a comprehensive package of important resource information. Learn more here. First 5 California and First 5 Riverside began distributing an updated Kit for New Parents April 5, 2007. The new kit provides a free, comprehensive parenting resource that includes everything from practical advice on prenatal care to information on a child’s first years.

Portable Medical Record / / Registro Médico Portátil
